The regular season is just around the corner and it’s time to project a career-high in a particular stat for each of the Philadelphia 76ers players. To be clear, the team’s rookie and sophomores won’t be included on this list just because they don’t have much of a career to analyze yet.

Projecting a career-high stat for each player: Shake Milton

It’s another season primarily acting as a point guard for Shake Milton. Despite it not it being his natural position, the Sixers have pigeonholed him into that role. As a result, he should see an increase in his assist averages. That’s if he gets a regular role on the team, which seems unlikely if Ben Simmons plays for the club this year.

Prior career-high: 2021 at 3.1 assists per game.

Projecting a career-high stat for each player: Georges Niang

Unlike with the Indiana Pacers and Utah Jazz, Georges Niang will be having the biggest role of his career with the 76ers. That includes increased playmaking duties which is one of his skills he hasn’t been able to show off in the NBA until this season.

Prior career-high: 2021 at 0.8 assists per game.

Projecting a career-high stat for each player: Furkan Korkmaz

Furkan Korkmaz has only been a 40-percent 3-point shooter once in his NBA, but this season he reaches that benchmark again and sets to a new career-high in that category. Another year of experience and another year in Doc Rivers system should be just what he needs to reach this new peak in his shooting.

Prior career-high: 2020 at 40.2 3-point percent shooting.
