Projecting a career-high stat for each player: Tobias Harris

In each season with the Philadelphia 76ers, Tobias Harris has improved as a defender, and don’t think this season will be an exception. With the uncertainty of Simmons, having a career year in steals per game isn’t out of the question has his responsibilities on defense would certainty increase.

Prior career-high: 2015 at 1.0 steals per game.

Projecting a career-high stat for each player: Ben Simmons

Ben Simmons is the Sixers’ biggest wildcard entering this season. Let’s work under the assumption he’s playing this season for the 76ers. If he does, he could end up letting it rip from the 3-point line more than he has ever before. He only has 34 career 3-point attempts and only hosted 11 last season. With nothing to lose in Philly and to possibly troll fans, he could let them fly this year.

Prior career-high: 2021 at 0.2 3-point attempts.

Projecting a career-high stat for each player: Joel Embiid

For an MVP candidate like Joel Embiid, it’s hard to figure out any areas that he could have a career-high in. One area fans could see Embiid take a leap in is his playmaking. I said on The Sixer Sense Podcast Embiid could average around five assists and I still hold true to that despite the potential return for Simmons.

Prior career-high: 2019 at 3.7 assists per game.

If these players do reach career-highs in these categories, the Philadelphia 76ers will be better off entering this season.

Next. Sixers should waive Riller and sign Terry. dark
