Point guards the Sixers missed in free agent who have something to prove

  • Kemba Walker

Kemba has lost some of his explosiveness from injury. If Walker is able to regain some of that burst he had in Charlotte, then the Knicks get a big steal here for all the more they gave up. The Sixers would’ve been wise to take a chance on him. He is a low-risk, potentially high-reward investment.

Kemba would fit in very nicely with this roster taking up the role of the third scoring option behind Tobias Harris and Joel Embiid. At his best he is still an All-Star caliber point guard, at this worst he is still a great third option on a championship level team.

  • Dennis Schroder

Schroder is one of the players with the most to prove in the entire league after he turned down an extension and lost out on a lot of money. Schroder is an underrated scoring threat. He would fit great with team as a third option or even in the sixth man role for the Sixers. He could bring a big scoring punch of the bench. Both roles that would bring a lot to this team.

  • Lonzo Ball

I don’t love the fit of Lonzo on this team. It’s hard to argue with the talent and his improving offensive game. You always run the risk with Ball becoming unsettled if he isn’t happy with his role. Talent wise he would bring a lot to this team and free up a lot of options to move Simmons or had they used Simmons in the Lonzo trade could’ve gotten more back. Either way there is always the potential that having Ball on this roster could put the Sixers right back where they currently are with Ben Simmons
