Sixers fans have had better days, as Philly has been sinking in the standings since Joel Embiid went out, but we still have much to discuss on this week’s episode. We begin with the ugly blowout against the Jazz.

The second game of a five-game road trip for the 76ers brought Doc Rivers’ team to Utah where the Sixers have struggled to win for decades. On this night, their depleted team really had no shot versus a team that was fully healthy. With All-Stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, Utah established their dominance early in the game. We try to find a bright spot in the midst of the blowout.

Next, with Joel Embiid and Matisse Thybulle continuing to miss time, we break down how impactful they are defensively and offensively for the Sixers.

The Sixers have fallen in the standings, but can they rise back up? And which teams pose the greatest threat?

We pivot to the Eastern Conference standings and which teams are likely to rise or fall in the standings. Do we think the Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls will remain at the top of the conference? Will the Bucks and Hawks rise in the standings? We mention these teams and more.

The final topic we explore is the idea of the Sixers swapping Ben Simmons straight up for Kyrie Irving. Both players have been difficult to handle, for different reasons of course, but what would happen to both teams if these players traded places? How would Irving fit on a team with Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris? How would Simmons impact a Brooklyn team that could use an elite defender in their starting lineup?
