3 potential Harris trades the Sixers could make: Pacers and Thunder.

This last potential trade is between the Sixers, Indiana Pacers, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Philadelphia 76ers get an All-Star level player in return for Harris, but they pay a steep price in this potential trade.

The 76ers receive Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (a.k.a. SGA), T.J. Warren, and Mike Muscala. The Pacers get Harris, Springer, and a 2022 first round pick. The Thunder come away with Domantas Sabonis, Reed, and 2028 lottery protected first round pick. If the 2028 pick doesn’t convey, it turns into two second round picks in 2028 and 2029.

SGA would fix much of the perimeter problems that the Sixers have. He’s averaging 21.7 points and 4.9 assists. He could play alongside Tyrese Maxey and improves the defense as well. Muscala would return to Philly for the second time in his career. He’d add depth to the power forward spot for the 76ers. He’s averaging 8.4 points and 3.2 rebounds, while shooting 44.3 percent from downtown.

Warren is a risk for the Sixers as he’s struggled with his health since the NBA Bubble. He doesn’t have a definite timeline, per James Boyd of the Indianappolis Star and even if he does return sooner rather than later, it’s hard to tell if he comes back in his old form. However, if he does then potentially it would have been a risk worth taken by Philly.

Harris allows the Pacers to play a fast pace on offense and makes more sense on defense as well. Springer is a nice young prospect and an unprotected first round pick in 2022. The Thunder gets a franchise center which they’ve never had since coming to Oklahoma City in Sabonis. Reed is a nice young prospect and they get another first round pick, which lines up with their front office’s line of thinking.

There’s a way to trade Harris, but the Sixers have a tall order to fill in order to make a trade work for all parties in any potential deal.
