In the spirit of the holidays, this special episode of the Sixer Sense Podcast brings seasons greetings in a unique way. Before we offer gifts to each of our beloved Sixers, we start things off with some basketball talk.

The podcast begins with the recap of the tough home loss to the Atlanta Hawks. Without their star, Trae Young, the Hawks saw the Sixers struggle early on. Lucas Johnson and Christopher Kline give analysis on how and why Philly had no answer for a depleted Hawks team.

Next, the conversation pivots to another game versus a rival Eastern Conference team. Playing in Boston, the Sixers sought to gain some momentum after some erratic play lately. Luckily, Al Horford, who seems to own Joel Embiid in a Celtics jersey, did not suit up. The podcast targets reasons why the Sixers were able to take down the Celtics on their home floor.

We devote a small segment to the addition of Tyler Johnson, who signed a 10-day contract with the Sixers. We provide insight into the logic of Philly making this move at this point of the season.

It’s the holiday season, and we celebrate it with gifts for the entire Sixers rotation.

Finally, the podcast goes through the Sixers roster and offers a list of gift ideas. What do we think Seth Curry, Danny Green, and Joel Embiid should get for Christmas? What presents would players like Matisse Thybulle, Shake Milton, and Tyrese Maxey open up under the tree? Listen in to find out!
