3 All-Star trade targets that would save the Philadelphia 76ers’ season: Bradley Beal
I recently wrote about how Bradley Beal should become the prime target of the Philadelphia 76ers. It makes sense on paper, Beal, like Embiid, is also in the early prime of his career at 28 years olds.
Unlike the older Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers, Beal fits great between Embiid and Maxey. Beal’s playmaking can make up for the lake of it that Maxey is still trying to develop and Beal’s a clutch 3-level scoring at shooting guard. Making a trade for the all-star is easy enough and he’s probably the easiest to get among the three players on this list.
The Wizards get Simmons who’s an established all-star and fit pretty well with their roster already. They also get two first round picks and a young prospect in Jaden Springer who has enticing upside.
While I’m not the biggest Raul Neto fan, he does help solidify the Sixers’ point guard depth chart and only mortgage their future with this trade and not their present. If Beal didn’t have the capability of being a free agent this offseason, then the Wizards could ask for more, but this trade is pretty fair all things considered.
