1. Ranking five realistic landing spots for Harris: Dallas Mavericks

This isn’t the first time I’ve written about the Dallas Mavericks being a legit landing spot for Tobias Harris. Harris and the Mavericks make sense on so many different levels. The expectations of his contract have taken a toll on him while a member of the Philadelphia 76ers and the Mavericks need a legit third scoring option on their roster behind Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis.

Not only that, but one thing I failed to mention in my previous article is that this would also be a reunion of kindred spirits in Harris and Boban Marjonavic. They developed a best friendship as members of the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers, and Sixers before Marjonavic left in free agency a few off seasons ago. Below is a slightly tweaked trade of the one I proposed before.

The only change is that instead of Paul Reed coming back to Dallas, it’s going to be Isaiah Joe. The Mavs also get Harris and a lottery-protected 2023 first round pick. The Sixers are getting back Tim Hardaway Jr. and Maxi Kleber. It’s clear isn’t going to be getting a legit shot at consistent minutes this season in Philly, so having Joe be a part of this deal allows Dallas to add a cheap sharpshooter while he gets a chance at legit minutes.

Which of these hypothetical trades benefit the Philadelphia 76ers? Where would Harris fit best amongst these potential deal? Comment below your thoughts.
