Joel Embiid has been on a tear lately. He’s averaging 34.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game while shooting 55.9% from the field and 38.8% from outside over his last 15 games. He’s been incredible and has planted his mammoth frame directly in the middle of the NBA MVP race.

As the 76ers host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers tonight in a game WynnBET lists the Sixers as 2.5-point favorites, Embiid’s surge gives bettors plenty of value moving forward.

Embiid’s Dominance Gives 76ers Value

Philly hasn’t given Embiid much help this year. Between the ongoing Ben Simmons saga and Tobias Harris’ inconsistency, the 76ers struggled early in the season as Tyrese Maxey and Seth Curry were forced into prominent roles. But over this 15-game stretch that’s perhaps the best of Embiid’s career, the 76ers are 10-5 against the spread (ATS) and 12-3 straight up.

They lead the NBA in offensive rating in that span at 116.5, a mark that would rank ninth all-time over the course of a full season. That Embiid is doing this with no consistent second option is a testament to just how incredible he’s playing and how terrified the rest of the league should be.

The 76ers have been stout on the other end, as well, and are seventh in defensive rating at 107.6 during this stretch. Tied for second in net rating in this span behind the Phoenix Suns, Philly is playing like one of the very best teams in all of basketball.

As bettors, that gives us value. Until Embiid slows down, the 76ers will be a good bet on both the spread and moneyline. Oddsmakers seem to be underestimating just how far Embiid can take Philly and we can take advantage.

I love them as 2.5-point home favorites tonight against a middling Lakers team tonight and will continue banking on this trend as Embiid tries to carry his squad to the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference. He’s unstoppable and relishes putting on a show. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy it.

If you want to take advantage of one of the best stretches of basketball we’ve seen in quite some time, head on over to WynnBET and place your bet now before the line has a chance to move.
