3 Sixers that could be dealt at the 2022 trade deadline: Furkan Korkmaz
This player has been a disappointment for the Sixers on the court despite having a very hot start to the season. That is fifth-year wing Furkan Korkmaz. In the past, Korkmaz has been one of the more consistent shooters on the 76ers roster, but that’s not the case this season.
Korkmaz is shooting a career-low 28.7 percent from downtown. This is pretty bad considering that Philly needs his shooting/scoring off the bench. For his career, he’s shot about 35 percent from deep, so a bounce-back is sure to come, but it probably shouldn’t happen in Philly.
It feels like his time with the franchise should come to an end and with him being a shooter there should be no shortages of suitors that would like his services. The Sixers could use him in a deal to address their hole at the backup point guard spot.
With the deadline only hours away, the Philadelphia 76ers need to make a move of some kind. If not with Simmons, any of the three players mentioned could help the Sixers fill out the point guard depth issue with a trade.
