Top 3 skills of James Harden with Sixers: Moving forward…
At the end of the day, the Sixers are lucky for many reasons. Lucky to not have given up Tyrese Maxey and Matisse Thybulle in the Harden deal. Lucky that the dark cloud of Ben Simmons no longer hovers over the city. Lucky that Joel Embiid finally has a legitimate co-star who wants to be here and contend for a championship.
If you think Embiid’s dominance is impressive, imagine what Harden’s passing and scoring will add. Imagine how he will feast from the line as Embiid does the exact same. The games we watch will look alot different with James Harden replacing Ben Simmons, and I am just wondering how long until he integrates his skills with the 76ers. One point of optimism to consider is Harden has potentially rescued this team, who was on the verge of wasting Embiid’s prime.
Harden is like the knight in shining armor for Philly, riding in on a horse from Brooklyn. For all of Harden’s critics, his sword is his lethal offensive game while his shield is his reputation as the most prolific scoring guard in NBA history. Fans are hoping he can help slay future playoff threats, none more despised than the dragon known as the Brooklyn Nets.
All in all, it is a good time to be a Sixers fan. For once in a long time, we can say that this team, our team, has a shot at the title. Ultimately, it will be the multi-skilled future Hall of Fame player in James Harden that will help the Sixers get there.
