The Sixer Sense Podcast brings a string of topics that 76ers fans are sure to find interesting. Yes, the Sixers were embarrassed on national television against the Brooklyn Nets, but we start things off on a positive note with a win in Orlando.

On the road, the Sixers looked to rebound from a horrid performance last Thursday. Against the Magic, the Sixers struggled early and often. With former Sixer, Markelle Fultz, dropping dimes and Cole Anthony hitting clutch threes late in the fourth, this game looked like it would slip away from Philly. Yet, Tobias Harris and James Harden stepped up late to secure a victory. The podcast picks apart various aspects of this game and provides insight related to the overtime win in Orlando.

After we discuss the win against the Magic, we recap the forgettable loss to Brooklyn that was televised on TNT. This game, which drew the most viewers since NBA opening night in 2019, caused a lot of panic for Sixers fans for many reasons. The podcast covers each let down in every department, from players to coaches, and we also dive into the reaction from Philly fans towards Ben Simmons.

The next topic revolves around a former Sixer who had an opinion about how the Philly fanbase heckled a Brooklyn Nets player. Robert Covington is a Process Sixer who went to Instagram to vent about the treatment of opposing players. We debate on whether or not RoCo was taking a shot at the fans or if his post was about something else.

The Sixers and Nuggets will battle Monday night… which team’s star center is the MVP right now?

The final subject targets the huge matchup between two top MVP candidates. On Monday night, Joel Embiid squares off against Nikola Jokic at the Wells Fargo Center. The first and only game the Sixers and Nuggets played this year did not see Embiid suit up for health reasons. The nationally televised game will feature two big men who have taken their games to newfound heights, helping to inspire all centers coming out of college. Who will outplay their opponent in this matchup? We must wait and see.
