3 bench players that the Sixers need to step up in the postseason: Shake Milton
Last but not least is Shake Milton who has been an enigma for most of his NBA career. He was selected late in the second round by the Sixers in the 2018 NBA Draft. He was then signed to a two-way contract and spent most of his rookie season down with Philly’s G-League affiliate the Delaware Blue Coats.
He then came on the scene in a big way in his sophomore season, having several high-scoring games. However, last season he struggled to produce consistently and this season he’s dealt with injuries as well as finding his role.

However, Milton’s solid at creating his own shot off the dribble and easily is the best at doing so on the bench currently. When given enough touches he has the potential to become a sixth man for the 76ers.
This season, he’s averaging 7.8 points on 30.3 percent shooting from behind the arc. Considering he was averaging 13.0 points on 35.0 percent shooting from the 3-point line, he needs to do more for Philly moving forward.
Honestly, Milton’s who the Sixers need the most out of the three on this list to step up. If he does, then he could easily provide the scoring punch coming off the bench that Philly needs to succeed in the postseason.
