2022 NBA Mock Draft — 22. MarJon Beauchamp, Grizzlies
No team in recent history has drafted better than the Memphis Grizzlies. They find smart, tough, selfless players who are willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the team. For no other reason would a young team with no established superstars be the No. 2 seed out West. MarJon Beauchamp would fit right in. After bouncing around for years at the amateur level, but joined the G-League Ignite and thrived. By all accounts, he is a hard worker and willing learner. He plays both sides of the ball, and could give Memphis some much-needed scoring punch on the wing.
2022 NBA Mock Draft — 23. Kennedy Chandler, Sixers
This is B.P.A. — Best Player Available. The Sixers don’t need another point guard, but Kennedy Chandler is the best option in the short term and the long term. Another slightly undersized speedster who can attack viciously off the catch and shoot with touch, Chandler would fit right in with James Harden and Tyrese Maxey (the latter has been used as a point of comparison by some).
2022 NBA Mock Draft — 24. Blake Wesley, Bucks
The Bucks need guards who can score the basketball. Jrue Holiday is great, but without Khris Middleton to help weather the storm, Milwaukee’s perimeter offense stalled constantly in the postseason. Blake Wesley is a talented on-ball scorer. He would need to learn how to spend more time away from the ball, but his spark-plug potential is a natural fit for Milwaukee’s current roster. Sometimes you need guys to come in the game and fill it up. Wesley can provide that skill set.
