3 most likely players to be traded during the draft: Furkan Korkmaz
After this past season, most Philadelphia 76ers fans are probably ready for the Furkan Korkmaz era to end. Behind only Joel Embiid, Korkmaz is the second longest-tenured player on the current roster.
After not getting many chances during his first two seasons, Korkmaz had a good two-year stretch where he was a reliable shooter off the bench. However, this past season he had the worst shooting year of his career.
He averaged 7.6 points on a career-worst 28.9 percent shooting from downtown. Of players who at least played half the season for the Sixers, only Andre Drummond had a worst 3-point percentage this past year than Korkmaz.
It’s clear Korkmaz needs a fresh start and his $5 million salaries could be interesting for teams needing a shooter. He could be traded for a second round pick or be a salary filler in a bigger deal that Philly could make.
