Three 3-and-D free agents for the Sixers to pursue: Donte DiVincenzo
Donte DiVincenzo comes in as the shortest player on this list at 6-foot-4, but the young Delaware native would be an ideal candidate for the Sixers. He started out his career on the Milwaukee Bucks and then was traded to the Sacramento Kings this past season.
It’s been reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN that the Kings didn’t offer DiVincenzo a qualifying offer so he will become an unrestricted free agent. Getting DiVincenzo to take a discount will be key as the guard will be interested in the free agent market, per Wojnarowski.
He was injured during the Bucks title run two postseasons ago and didn’t look the same this season. This past year, he averaged 9.0 points and 1.1 steals, while converting 33.9 percent from deep.
It should be noted that he is ranked 10th on my restricted free agent big board. The 25-year-old would be a welcome sight on the Sixers roster.
Any of the players on this list would improve the Sixers’ 3-and-D depth. Only time will tell if the Philadelphia 76ers will be able to land any of them in the upcoming free agency period.
