15. Grizzlies: Ja Morant and Desmond Bane

Maybe if Jaren Jackson Jr. could stay healthy he might be a part of the Memphis Grizzlies’ best duo. However, considering he’s going to miss a big portion of the season again this upcoming year it’s just impossible to do.

The Grizzlies are a young and upcoming team that pushed the eventual NBA champions the Golden State Warriors. They have a great supporting cast despite the Sixers trading for De’Anthony Melton this offseason. However, their current top-two players are Ja Morant and Desmond Bane.

“His game is a perfect mix of prime Derrick Rose and Allen Iverson.”

Last season, Bane was one of the best 3-point shooters in the NBA. On top of that, he was an elite defender. There are certainly shades of Klay Thompson in his game and entering his third season, he should see another jump in his production.

Morant may have won The Most Improved Player Award, but for parts of the season, there was a real buzz for him as an MVP candidate. His game is a perfect mix of prime Derrick Rose and Allen Iverson. The Grizzlies are set up for long-term success with Morant leading the way.
