4. Clippers: Kawhi Leonard and Paul George

There’s a real argument that this is a make-or-break season for the Los Angeles Clippers. This team has invested so much money and draft assets into their dynamic duo but hasn’t rewarded the club for that sacrifice yet.

They have the best supporting cast in the NBA with John Wall, Reggie Jackson, Marcus Morris, Robert Covington, and Norman Powell to just name a few players. Yet, the Clippers need Kawhi Leonard and Paul George to stay on the court.

George missed the majority of the year last season with an injury, but when he did play he was every bit of the two-way superstar that he’s always been. The question is can he still play at that level with Leonard.

Leonard missed the who season due to injury, so hopefully, he’s fully healthy when he makes his season debut, he can hit the ground running. Since he won the NBA title in 2019 when he infamously hit that shot against the Sixers, Leonard hasn’t done too much in the playoffs since. He has to prove he’s still that postseason assassin he once was.
