24. Pacers: Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner
It’s clear that the Indiana Pacers are at the beginning stages of a rebuild. They traded Caris LeVert last season and dealt away Malcolm Brogdon this offseason. Myles Turner is the last trade domino that needs to fall before a full re-build happens.
Luckily for the Pacers, they already have the beginning of a nice core headlined by Tyrese Haliburton, Chris Duarte, and Bennedict Mathurin. However, as of now, the dynamic duo for the club is Turner and Haliburton.
Turner is one of the few true 3-and-D centers in the NBA. He’s an elite defender who can stretch the floor on offense as well as a rim runner. He’s going to be one of the bigger names in the trade market for the foreseeable future.
It was surprising when it was revealed that the Sacramento Kings were willing to trade Haliburton for Domantas Sabonis. Haliburton has all the tools to become an All-Star. With the rebuild that the Pacers are in, he will get the chance to become one.
