22. Thunder: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey
Let’s be clear, the Oklahoma City Thunder are set up for long-term success. They already have a nice young core and they have a treasure trove of picks moving forward as well. No other team has a better long-term future than the Thunder.
They just drafted three lottery picks in Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, and Ousmane Dieng. However, their dynamic duo are made up of two young rising stars in guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA) and guard/forward Josh Giddey.
Giddey just finished his rookie and he played very well. At 6-foot-8 with his playmaking skills, Giddey has a high ceiling. The issues with Giddey his shooting, which he struggled with. If he can figure that out in his second season he could be a borderline All-Star.
SGA has been a borderline All-Star for the past several seasons. If the Thunder win enough games next season then he should make the All-Star game. Honestly, SGA is skilled enough to be a third-best player on a contender.
