This episode of the Sixer Sense Podcast dives into conversation regarding the starting rotation, underrated offseason signings, and overrated teams for the upcoming season. With Kevin Durant off the table and returning to Brooklyn, it is probable that this Sixers roster will remain as it is to start the year. We begin the podcast with who we feel could be the starting five.

Lucas Johnson and Christopher Kline lay out the top four starters for the Sixers this year, and then explore options for the fifth man in the lineup. As the news of Kevin Durant meeting with the Nets’ front office, the idea of losing Tyrese Maxey, Tobias Harris, and Matisse Thybulle is now a distant conversation. The discussion keeps the obvious players as starters, but the podcast offers who we think should be the fifth starter.

Next, we pivot to some off-season moves from other teams around the NBA, where we discuss the trades and signings that may not have gotten enough coverage. Who thought a Western Conference team made a bold move to acquire a top center? Which Eastern Conference team went all in for a top forward?

The final topic revolves around teams in the NBA that could be playoff contending imposters. There could be several teams who paid a lot of money for certain players, but does this ensure success in their respective conferences? Do the rosters of these teams add up to legit contenders, or will they implode for various reasons? Listen in to find out!
