The 2022-23 season is slowly coming into reality and heading into the year, the Philadelphia 76ers front office is sure to do their due diligence. One of the things that the Sixers management should be doing is figuring out which teams are rebuilding.

This is important as it can help them decide which of the rebuilding teams are willing to part with veterans that might be available in trades if this 76ers roster shows weakness in an area once the year begins. Hopefully, this added depth this offseason will help with any deficiencies that the team has but it’s hard to tell for sure.

With that in mind, there are three teams that are sure to be rebuilding this season who should be rebuilding this season.

3 rebuilding teams who could be Sixers trade partners: Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic were on my list of teams that could give Joel Embiid problems scoring the ball. With that being written, they are certainly a rebuilding team, especially considering that they just selected first in this past NBA draft.

The Magic have an exciting young core of Jalen Suggs, Jonathan Isaac, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, and Wendell Carter. This doesn’t include impressive young role players like Cole Anthony, Markelle Fultz, Mo Bamba, R.J. Hampton, and Bol Bol.

That being written, that young group of players needs time to play with each other and there are several veterans who could steal minutes from these young guys. Of the veterans on this Orlando team, two stand out in Gary Harris and Terrence Ross.

Harris is a 3-and-D shooting guard who just re-signed with Orlando this offseason. Trading for him might be tricky. Ross is a spark plug scorer off the bench who could help any playoff team who needs a wing who can score in bunches.
