5 potential free agent options to begin the season: Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Eric Bledsoe

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (a.k.a. TLC) is the only former Sixers draft pick on this list and since being traded from Philly, the wing has become a journeyman. Most recently he was on the Pheonix Suns’ preseason roster but failed to make the final cut.

A reunion with the wing and the Philadelphia 76ers makes sense. In a league of versatility, TLC can offer that on the defensive end. Offensive he’s gotten better, last season, he shot 36.1 percent from the 3-point line for the Atlanta Hawks. However, consistency has been a problem for the wing in his career.

However, there’s an argument that could be made that the Sixers don’t have a legit point guard coming off the bench with Shake Milton and De’Anthony Melton both being combo guards. With that in mind, Eric Bledsoe might be a solid veteran to bring in.

Let’s be clear, Bledsoe is past his prime at the age of 32 years old. However, he can string bring defense and playmaking to the position which could be a welcomed sight in a shaky second unit. The only downside is he would hurt spacing with his below-average 3-point shot.
