After oscillating between various roles with Golden State and Dallas, Barnes has settled into the archetypal 3-and-D wing role for Sacramento.
R.J. Barrett’s erratic play style and persistent inconsistency has been a thorn in the side of Knicks fans all season. Still, the broader NBA public should have faith in the former No. 3 pick’s development. His strength driving downhill is quite unique, and there are enough flashes of potential stardom to keep the well of optimism open for now.
Buddy Hield deserves a ton of credit for buying into his role with the Pacers and properly weaponizing his greatest attribute: that laser-focused 3-point shot that can bend defenses to their breaking point.
