An elite wing defender who can also crash the glass and contribute enough offensively to get by. The Nets should get plenty of mileage out of Dorian Finney-Smith, who is well positioned to tie together one of the league’s most intimidating defensive rotations.
Keldon Johnson continues to come into his own for the rebuilding Spurs. He has been especially important during San Antonio’s recent stretch sans Devin Vassell. He can still be somewhat one-noted on offense, but Johnson’s defensive versatility and occasionally impressive rebounding provide a solid foundation to build on.
Tobias Harris has fallen into some of his bad habits offensively of late, but the broader picture of his 2022-23 season is a positive one. When Harris is focused on spot-up jumpers, decisive drives, and quick passes, he really shines in the fourth-option role for one of the NBA’s most potent offenses.
