Karl-Anthony Towns. 6. player. 86. . C. Minnesota Timberwolves

Karl-Anthony Towns has now missed the majority of the season to injury, putting an unfortunate dent in what could still be an exciting year for Wolves fans on the whole. KAT is a well-known commodity at this point: probably the best shooting 7-footer of all-time, and a player who has steadily improved on defense with each passing season.

84. . C. Sacramento Kings. Domantas Sabonis. 5. player

Domantas Sabonis has elevated Sacramento to a top-3 seed in his first full season with the team. The Kings’ playoff drought of well over a decade is set to end as a result. Sabonis deserves so much credit for his singular playmaking ability, dominant post scoring, and impressive presence on the glass.

110. . C. Miami Heat. Bam Adebayo. 4. player

A defensive cheat code who has progressed to stardom on the offensive end, Bam Adebayo will be a perennial All-Star and DPOY candidate for many years to come. He is taking the proverbial baton of franchise cornerstone status from Jimmy Butler: his ability to create for others, as well as himself on occasion, is quite valuable as Miami continues to scale up his role.
