The Philadelphia 76ers are hoping to avoid a season series sweep at the hands of the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night.

Philly is a slight favorite in this game, but my favorite bets are actually in the prop market, and they both favor the Sixers having a good night.

Here’s how to bet on Joel Embiid and one Boston forward on Tuesday:

Celtics vs. Sixers best NBA prop bets today

  • Al Horford UNDER 5.5 Rebounds
  • Joel Embiid to Record a Double-Double

Al Horford UNDER 5.5 Rebounds

Why don’t we start by fading a Boston big man?

Al Horford has grabbed just nine rebounds in his two games against the Sixers this season, failing to clear this line in either matchup.

He’s averaging 6.2 rebounds per game on the season, but over his last 10 games, Horford has cleared 5.5 rebounds just three times. Dealing with Joel Embiid is a tough task for anyone, so I’m not sold with Horford having a big game on the glass along with it.

Joel Embiid to Record a Double-Double

Bettors are going to have to lay some juice with this prop, but Embiid is completely undervalued to pick up a double-double tonight.

Boston’s starting center, Robert Williams III, is out for this game, which should make things easier for Embiid on the offensive end.

Not only that, but Embiid has picked up a double-double in 16 of his 21 career games against the Celtics, including two of the three times the teams have played this season.

The Sixers’ MVP candidate is averaging 33.0 points and 10.2 rebounds per game this season, picking up a double-double in 38 of his 64 games.

I think he’s able to hit the glass enough tonight to clear this prop.
