147. . F. Brooklyn Nets. Cam Johnson. 85. player

Cam Johnson has fashioned himself into one of the NBA’s premier complementary talents. He doesn’t leap off the screen literally or figuratively, but Johnson spaces the floor, makes quick decisions in the flow of the offense, and supplies versatility on the defensive end.

169. . C. Houston Rockets. Alperen Sengun. 84. player

Alperen Sengun should be the basis of Houston’s rebuild until further notice — and it’s a shame that the Houston brass doesn’t seem to realize it. The Turkish big man continues to stupefy defenses with balletic footwork and next-level passing instincts. He can be a legitimate playmaking hub for a good team. Let’s see if Houston gets there.

. F. Minnesota Timberwolves. Jaden McDaniels. 83. player. 86

Jaden McDaniels is quickly becoming of the NBA’s premier 3-and-D wings; he’s a truly elite stopper who can switch 1-4 in most matchups due to his unique blend of length and lateral quickness. He’s also coming along quickly on the offensive end, starting to do much more than simply hit 3s.

player. 24. . G. Chicago Bulls. Alex Caruso. 82

Alex Caruso is on the shortlist of best defensive guards in the NBA. His intensity at the point of attack, combined with ridiculously active hands and a penchant for creating turnovers, has made Caruso the beating heart of Chicago. He competes hard every possession. On offense, he’s an excellent connective passer, shooter, and cutter who can thrive without the ball.

player. 84. . G. Sacramento Kings. Kevin Huerter. 81

Kevin Huerter continues to singe the nets for Sacramento’s upstart offense. On top of his elite shooting, Huerter is a competent secondary ball-handler and passer who plays above-average defense on the wing.
