76ers: One Joel Embiid trade for every team ranked least to most likely: 19. San Antonio Spurs

This would be one of the crazier trades on this list, and like the Indiana Pacers, the San Antonio Spurs have no reason to make the deal, especially now that they’ve won the lottery. (And no, they would not offer the first pick in a trade. That would be foolish.)

That being said a frontcourt of Joel Embiid and Victor Wembanyama would be an absolute monstrosity in the best way possible. San Antonio would even be able to compete for a playoff spot right away. They’d also have some cap space to work with and could improve the team even more around those two.

But while you could easily talk yourself into a Tre Jones, Malaki Branham (?), Keldon Johnson, Wembanyama, and Embiid starting five, the Spurs should be more than content to roll with their young guys and keep their draft capital.

Plus, from the perspective of the Philadelphia 76ers, this trade package isn’t that great. Devin Vassell and Jeremy Sochan are two interesting prospects, but they aren’t the blue-chip guy they would want in a deal.

The first-rounders probably wouldn’t be that great, either, as San Antonio’s core would be able to make a push for the postseason every year, and that would be their floor.
