76ers: One Joel Embiid trade for every team ranked least to most likely: 14. Dallas Mavericks

As you can tell, there’s a certain pattern with all of the middle-of-the-pack trades on this list. The Philadelphia 76ers do not need win-now talent, but that’s all a lot of teams can offer.

Adding Kyrie Irving to the mix would be useless for the 76ers, especially considering they would want to build around Tyrese Maxey. The only upside to it would be that they could flip him or maybe include a third team in the deal and get extra assets back in return.

The reason this deal ranks a bit higher than the others is that Josh Green and Jaden Hardy are fairly interesting prospects, both of whom could earn more opportunities in Philadelphia.

Hardy may struggle to break into the starting lineup, as his fit next to Maxey could be rough, but the Mavericks rookie showed a ton of potential last season and would be worth taking a chance on.

Meanwhile, Green looked great in Dallas last year, showing a ton of promise on both ends of the court. The wing defender could have the chance to blossom offensively with the 76ers.

The Dallas Mavericks’ interest would be there. Pairing Luka Doncic with Joel Embiid would create a lethal combination.

All that being said, this trade still falls firmly in the “never going to happen” category.
