6. Chris Paul

The future Hall of Famer has already been traded twice this offseason, but he may be on the move again before the deadline. Paul went from Phoenix to Washington in the Bradley Beal trade before being shipped to Golden State for Jordan Poole. The Dubs are all-in on another championship this season, but what if CP3 isn’t fitting in?

There has already been pushback in response to him coming off the bench. How much does Steve Kerr want to play Paul and Stephen Curry in the backcourt together? There is also plenty of injury risk for the 38-year-old point guard. Do the Warriors pivot at the deadline like they did with D’Angelo Russell back in 2020?

The Sixers could be licking their chops if Chris Paul becomes available. Philadelphia needs a point guard if James Harden refuses to play for the franchise, and the veteran always lifts his center. Joel Embiid is unstoppable, but even he could get a boost from playing with CP3.

It is risky given Paul’s age and playoff history, but the Philadelphia 76ers’ options will be limited as they have just one first-round pick available to trade. It won’t be easy bringing in a difference-maker, which could force Daryl Morey to target Chris Paul again.
