Genuine interest in James Harden and the package to convince 76ers

There are only two teams who feel like they could pull off a James Harden deal at this stage, and one may surprise fans.

2. Chicago Bulls

Daryl Morey wants a star or the assets to acquire one in return for James Harden. Most teams are not offering up that much, but the Bulls could. They had Zach LaVine on the trade block this summer for a massive asking price. If Chicago struggles early on, the Bulls might look to move on. They need point guard and want to contend.

Would Harden be happy in the Windy City? If the Clippers are unwilling to meet the asking price, and the Beard wants out of Philly, he may not have another option.

1. LA Clippers

The Clippers are firmly in the lead because both sides have shown interest in linking up. Harden wants to go home, and LA desires a third star to pair with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

The Clippers have made the top offer and do not want to bid against themselves. This drama could play out longer, but the best bet is the Beard ends up on the Clippers.

James Harden’s trade request is not going away. What can the Philadelphia 76ers get in return? Is it enough to keep Joel Embiid happy? There are plenty of questions to answer. Do not rule out a surprise team making a push for the ten-time All-Star. Fans never know in the NBA.
