A potential dream bargain trade target for the Philadelphia 76ers could be Terry Rozier. On the surface, Rozier may not move the needle much for a contender. However, Rozier may be the most realistic target for a team that needs to find a healthy source of offense.

Rozier is coming off a season in which he averaged 21 points, five assists, and four rebounds per game on 42 percent shooting from the field. That’s the type of player that could make a real difference for the Sixers. Plus, Rozier does have playoff experience from his time with the Boston Celtics. A Rozier-Maxey-Embiid big three may not be good enough to win the Eastern Conference on paper but it could be good enough to make a difference in the postseason. And with a player as good as Embiid, all you want is a puncher’s shot. Rozier could possibly give the Sixers that.

The only concern with Rozier is the fact he has two years left on his contract and a team option for the 2025-26 season. If the Sixers are fine with rolling the dice on Rozier for two guaranteed seasons, this could be a move that makes sense. However, if the Sixers are looking for more of a rental option, there could be some natural hesitance.
