This offseason we witnessed the eastern conference become even more competitive. The Philadelphia 76ers made their best efforts to remain afloat amongst the rest of the east, but after not having the exciting offseason fans had hoped for, there’s definitely some uncertainty regarding where exactly this Sixers team ranks amongst the rest of the eastern conference.

With James Harden sticking around as the elephant in the room until Daryl Morey can find a deal, it surely doesn’t help that they’ll have to go through another healthy Joel Embiid season holding onto a disgruntled star.

Although Harden has joined the rest of the team in Colorado for training camp, as of now it is still his intention to sit out until he get’s traded.

But with essentially the full roster complete, as we enter the new season, it’s only natural to project how this Sixers squad fares against the rest of the Atlantic Division. Arguably the NBA’s best performing division last season, each team in the division all from Boston to Toronto finished at .500 or better.
