The Philadelphia 76ers will look to get the NBA’s In-Season Tournament action on Friday night started with a bang when they take on the Detroit Pistons.
Detroit is a young, rebuilding team, and it could have its hands full with a Sixers team that is among the best in the Eastern Conference this season.
Philly has been getting elite production from Tyrese Maxey this season, and I think the young point guard could be in line for a huge game on Friday night. He’s among the three prop bets you should consider taking in this game.

Sixers vs. Pistons best NBA prop bets
- Tyrese Maxey OVER 22.5 Points
- Patrick Beverley OVER 2.5 Rebounds
- Ausar Thompson OVER 7.5 Rebounds
Tyrese Maxey OVER 22.5 Points
Maxey has been on fire this season, averaging 25.4 points per game while shooting 48.1 percent from the field and 40.7 percent from 3.
He’s cleared this line in four games, landing on exactly 22 points on two other occasions. Maxey should be able to attack a Pistons team that is in the bottom half of the NBA in defensive rating so far this season.
I also love the usage for the Sixers guard, as he’s taken 20+ shots on three occasions and at least 14 shots in every game this season.
Patrick Beverley OVER 2.5 Rebounds
Patrick Beverley has cleared this line in five of his seven games this season, grabbing at least four boards in each one of those contests.
Yet, he’s at plus money to grab three rebounds on Friday night! What give?
Pat Bev hasn’t played a ton as of late – 15 or fewer minutes in three straight – but he’s still put up five, four and four boards in those games.
The ultimate hustle player, I think Beverley can get on the glass tonight against Detroit, even though the Pistons are top five in the league in rebounding percentage.
Ausar Thompson OVER 7.5 Rebounds
If we’re going to bet on a Pistons player, rookie Ausar Thompson is a solid look.
He’s been a menace on the glass, grabbing 9.7 rebounds per game and at least seven boards in every game.
The Sixers are a good rebounding team (No. 4 in rebounding percentage), but so are the Pistons (No. 5). I think Thompson’s length and athleticism keep him on the floor against these Philly wings, and he should continue to dominate on the glass.
