1. LeBron James

King James is in the conversation for the all-time GOAT. He has scored the most points in NBA history, won four championships, and made 19 All-NBA appearances. There is nothing left for him to prove, and LeBron has already made over $1 billion. He plays for the love of the game and to chase championships at this stage.

LeBron’s first pick among the starters in the 2023 All-Star draft was Joel Embiid, which should tell fans all they need to know. Giannis Antetokounmpo selected Damian Lillard with his first pick of the reserves over then-teammate Jrue Holiday, which turned into an offseason trade. Could LeBron follow suit and join Embiid in Philly?

James is rumored to be happy in Los Angeles with his family, but his eldest son can enter the league next season. Bronny suffered a medical scare this summer, but if he stands out for USC when he gets back on the floor, he will certainly garner draft buzz. Does LeBron leave LA to play with his son?

The Philadelphia 76ers have their first-round pick in 2024 and would be eager to take Bronny if it meant getting LeBron too. They could compete for a championship and be part of one of the most talked about teams in the league. The Lakers are struggling out of the gate, and the door could open for LeBron to leave next summer.

Will the Sixers land another top-end talent in free agency? There will be stars available, but signing one won’t be easy. This is certainly a situation worth monitoring, so stay tuned.
