The Philadelphia 76ers are inching closer to training camp, and to that effect, they have just caught their first real glimpse of their impending championship bid for the upcoming season. For the first time, LeBron James and Jaylen Brown were seen working out with Tyrese Maxey, which excited fans and pundits alike on social media.

That was the first time James and Brown were seen in public working out with Maxey or anyone from the 76ers' roster, which makes those images especially noteworthy. Maxey has worked out with Joel Embiid, VJ Edgecombe, and the other holdovers from the team in the 76ers' training facilities, but not with those two, the team's blockbuster additions this offseason.

James and Brown are known gym rats who typically work out with different players from various ball clubs, but they both have strong ties to Maxey. LeBron is especially acquainted with him, as they are both represented by Klutch Sports, a factor that probably played a part in the megastar choosing Philly as his next and likely final landing spot.

So far, the 76ers' core five has been publicly documented working out this offseason. Joel Embiid was already seen actively participating in team workouts and scrimmages, unhindered by any semblance of an injury, whereas VJ Edgecombe was also participating in those sessions before setting off for his stint with the Bahamian National Team in the FIBA World Cup qualifiers.

Without a shadow of doubt, no other team in the league can match the blitzkrieg of raw talent the 76ers have, at least on paper. While this new and revamped core lacks actual game experience, this is different from other inexperienced ones in that it is ushering in two battle-tested former Finals MVPs in James and Brown, who have both led their respective teams to the championship this decade.

The 76ers have a standing title drought that has been going on for more than four decades, so the franchise is certainly desperate to put a governor on the bleeding. They should get to enjoy their best chance at winning the chip next season, so this brewing connection between Maxey and the team's new stars is surely a welcome sight.

Training camp is not that far away, which means that more images like this should surface anytime soon. For now, the 76ers are still ramping up for the upcoming season, which could very well be a prelude to a historic championship run.
