After three tries, the Philadelphia 76ers have finally tallied a win this season, putting them back to the winning column where they are expected to hover much this season. Having said that, staying healthy has been a waterloo for the team, even early on, making that a bit harder than initially expected.

It’s still too early to make a call on the current roster with the team having only played three games while being hobbled. Reasonably speaking, the front office needs a bigger sample size from which they will base their decisions moving forward. But at the same time, it’s highly unlikely that a franchise led by Daryl Morey up top will simply stand pat waiting for rival phone calls.

The Philadelphia 76ers may already be active in trade talks this early

In fact, the 76ers have already commenced the role of buyer, at least according to the rumors. Reports have surfaced recently that the front office has inquired into the availability of a particular veteran, pitting them against fellow contenders desirous to ramp up their depth, which is crucial given that it could be a difference-maker amid the league’s current parity.

However, fans have not been the biggest fans of the latest player linked to Philly, thanks in large part to his waning effectivity as a near-fossil. Hence, it would be more prudent for the 76ers to go after a younger commodity if they are paying anything of value anyway.

Conjunctively, some trade proposals have been floating around the web, and one pitch in particular has the 76ers moving the needle for a young and coveted forward that can help the franchise both in the present and in the immediate future.
