2. Tyler Kolek made waves as a silent killer in Vegas

Another player whom the 76ers could have moved up for, this time in the second round, is Marquette standout Tyler Kolek. He was drafted 34th overall by, well, the New York Knicks, and as much as Philadelphians hate to admit it, it seems like the Big Apple got a tremendous steal with the heady point guard.

Kolek racked up seven dimes per contest while coughing the ball up just 1.4 times on the average, exhibiting his uncanny talent as a pick-and-roll operator. He’s mature beyond his years, a trait reflective of his four-year collegiate stint, and he profiles as someone who can contribute right away for any team in need of playmaking juice.

The 76ers should have wanted him more with their pressing needs at point guard. No offense to Adem Bona, a sleek second-round pick who drew rave reviews, but Kolek is the more win-now commodity between the two. Unfortunately, another key rival got richer, and even worse, Philly could have moved up for him with their slew of second-rounders.
