4 Last-minute draft day trades the 76ers should seriously consider
2. Former Sixth Man of the Year heads to Philadelphia
Unlike the last two teams, Utah appears to be stuck in crossroads. Despite a glaring need for the franchise to intentionally bottom out in the last couple of years, they have tried to remain as competitive as they can which, however, failed to catapult them even in just the play-in tournament out West.
At some point, though, the Jazz have to be aggressive sellers, no matter what they feel about Lauri Markkanen as a bona fide franchise centerpiece. And someone they can hedge to gain as much assets as possible is Jordan Clarkson, a very desirable role player who won Sixth Man of the Year a few years back.
The 76ers should inquire with the Jazz about what it would take to snag Clarkson. The 32-year-old registered a relatively down year this season, but he remains a high-caliber second-unit operator who can start when needed with his three-level scoring, mid-volume playmaking, and considerable playoff experience.
