3. Joel Embiid could unseat Charles Barkley in exclusive 76ers list

Top-5 in All-Time 76ers Scoring List: Charles Barkley (14,184)

In another Embiid-related entry, the 2023 Most Valuable Player could also break into the top-five in the 76ers All-Time Scoring List in the upcoming campaign, potentially unseating Charles Barkley, who is currently fifth in the exclusive list.

Embiid is currently at 12,071 points, which is 2,114 short of exceeding Barkley's mark. As long as he avoids the injury bug and plays for the most part, the former should be able to eclipse that record. Luka Doncic led all players in total points scored last season with 2,370 despite missing 12 games, also leading all qualified players in points per game with 33.9.

Having missed too many games to qualify statistically, Embiid actually logged a higher point-average at 34.7 a night. Forgive our math inexactitudes, but should he play north of, say, 68 games while averaging around 32 to 33 points per game, he should muster just enough points to break the top-five list.
