1. 76ers record for points in a half –– 39

Record Holder: Wilt Chamberlain

Perhaps the boldest of all is this nearly six-decades long record set by Wilt Chamberlain that remains untouched to this point. However, the 76ers do have the ammunition to break the franchise-best mark for most points scored in a half, which is 39.

With Embiid, however, 39 doesn't seem too daunting. He already registered 36 in a single half last season, and came close to that figure multiple times. It's not too farfetched to see him reprise that same production in a half, especially when combatting teams that are rather feeble down low and have little defensive proclivities.

That's also not to exclude the prospect of Maxey or even George being the ones to usurp that mark. Between those three All-Stars, opposing teams will have a very difficult time choosing which shots to concede and whatnot. Hence, there could be an occasion where coupled with a good shooting night, one of them goes off volume-wise and earns multiple trips to the charity stripe to score 40 in a single half.
