Commit less fouls
A more overlooked area the 76ers have been lacking in is committing fouls. As of this writing, they are committing the 4th-most fouls per game on the season with 20.4, while at the same time drawing just 18.6 per night, good for 17th in the league.
Both of these are of concern, but particularly the area of committing fouls. When it comes to drawing fouls, Joel Embiid is one of the best in the game at getting to his spots and drawing contact from a defender to get to the free throw line. Philly will be fine in that department, though Embiid will inevitably get less calls in the playoffs than in the regular season.
The bigger concern is how frequently this team fouls, and what that comes down to is an inability to adequately defend without fouling. The best teams always do this, and it is something the Sixers will have to tighten up on heading into the playoffs.
If you cannot defend without fouling consistently, you will end up letting your opponents score a lot or with your own players in a heap of foul trouble. Both would be recipes for disaster for the 76ers in the playoffs.
