1. Markelle Fultz could be a reunion candidate for the 76ers

Strangely, the market has become dry for Markelle Fultz, who is coming off a productive stint in Orlando. His numbers took a nosedive last season, in large part due to his reduced role, but he’s only a season away from proving himself as a starting caliber guard in the league.

Outside of Kyle Lowry and perhaps Tyrese Maxey, the 76ers have no players who can create for others and settle the team down in the half court. And with the former’s advanced age, Philly should inarguably get another point guard who can step up whenever he’s absent and even supplant him if possible.

Fultz may be a non-shooter, but he’s managed to carve out a nice niche role for himself as an all-around point guard who’s particularly effective attacking the basket and capitalizing on close-outs. The 76ers may not have sweet memories of the former No. 1 pick, but context accounted for, a reunion with him seems intriguing.
