4 teams that could steal Buddy Hield from the 76ers this summer
1. Orlando Magic
One of the most pleasant suprises in the NBA this season, the Orlando Magic are poised to make the playoffs and snap a five-year drought behind their pair of young stars in Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner and their cast of young and gritty players who have thrived defensively under the tutelage of head coach Jamahl Mosley.
To get to the next level though, the Magic have to upgrade their offense, which ranks a meager 24th in the association. Orlando is also the second-worst three-point shooting them — a trait that has caused them to lose a slew of close games this season.
With their robust spending power, investing on Buddy Hield would be a great under-the-radar move. He’s an ideal play finisher next to their couple of playmaking forwards in Banchero and Wagner and their bevy of attack-first guards in Jalen Suggs, Cole Anthony, and Markelle Fultz. Better yet, Orlando has more than adequate defensiev inusrance to abate his weaknesses on that end.
