1. Monte Morris

Outside of Tyrese Maxey (who is technically also a free agent), Philadelphia has a dearth of point guards on the roster. Kyle Lowry, Cameron Payne, and Melton could all leave in free agency, and the 76ers are definitely not going to trot out their two-way guys as regulars to start next season.

A legitimate point guard on this roster is necessary notwithstanding the fate of the team’s impending free agents. A cheap and low-risk option they could resort to is Monte Morris, who mightily struggled this season thanks to rust from injury and a sheer lack of consistent court time in both Detroit and Minnesota.

One of the most efficient ball handlers in the league, Morris is just a season away from logging an outstanding 5.3:1 assists-to-turnover ratio. The Iowa State alum is a neat operator, playing a foolproof game predicated on chasing open passing lanes and hitting open shots as a career 39.1 percent three-point shooter.
