2. Mason Plumlee — C

Joel Embiid’s injury has exploited Philly’s lack of experienced options to man the center position on the interim. Both Paul Reed and Mo Bamba have turned in inconsistent performances on a nightly basis, and the 76ers have simply looked hapless whenever one of them registers a below-average outing.

With the reigning MVP not exactly having the sturdiest of physiques, the 76ers will definitely look into bolstering their big man depth. One option they can consider is veteran big man Mason Plumlee, who has been in-and-out of a Clippers rotation that already has two solid players to handle the role he fills.

The 34-year-old should have some suitors in free agency, but the 76ers at least have a clear role waiting for him. Still a great rebounder and defender in more limited servings, Plumlee is a playoff-tested big man who offers consistent interior presence and notable playmaking out of the post.
