The Philadelphia 76ers have one of the most star-laden teams this season, but they need to maximize the players' talent with balanced lineups.

Staggered superstars' minutes added to the bench unit

In the modern NBA coaches are making an effort to keep the team on the positiellore often than ever, coaches opting to split their superstar minutes between the bench and startiKng unit.

The Philadelphia 76ers have built a top-heavy roster after signing Paul George and keeping Tyrese Maxey on the team. That said, it is almost certain that one of the three All-Stars will remain on the floor when the bench unit is entering the floor. The Sixers build a well-rounded second unit, indeed, adding veterans like Eric Gordon and Andre Drummond, but the bench will demand guidance.

I expect Tyrese Maxey to be the guy to take the nod for that role from Nick Nurse. Maxey is the Sixers leading guard and the youngest of the superstar trio that can carry the team for some minutes before George or Embiid enter the game again. An intriguing lineup for the Sixers could be Maxey alongside Gordon, Drummond, and Caleb Martin on the wing, along with Ricky Council IV or Kelly Oubre Jr.

It will be challenging to see how Maxey will respond to pressure as the primary scoring option in games, especially if the Sixers are forced to play without Paul George or Joel Embiid at some point during an “all-in” season. Both veteran superstars have been labeled as injury-riddled players throughout their careers, so it will be exciting to see if Maxey and the 'other guys' are up to the task to keep the Sixers afloat.
