4. KJ Martin

KJ Martin has become somewhat of an afterthought this season despite a positive outlook for him entering the campaign. After spending most of his Clippers tenure under Ty Lue’s doghouse, he’s found himself in a similar situation in Philadelphia, though he’s been able to clinch more court time thanks to the injury bug’s obsession with the 76ers.

Unfortunately, the 23-year-old’s spot in the NBA next season is not guaranteed — an unforeseen scenario in account of his impressive three-year stint in Houston. His skill set as a non-shooting wing who offers zilch playmaking and inconsistent defending is simply liability material in the league conidering its ebbs, and Martin has shown no improvement this season on that end.

Martin could still find himself on a roster next season, but very few would have him slotted in as an essential rotation piece unless he hones a reliable shooting stroke, improves his free-throw shooting, and strays off from his tunnel vision as a one-dimensional play finisher.
