2. KJ Martin

KJ Martin had a great start to his career back in Houston, but this season must be quite a surprising development for the young forward. He quickly found himself buried beneath a crowded forward rotation with the LA Clippers before being stuck in the same exact situation after being traded to the 76ers.

Unfortunately, there’s just no clear pathway for Martin to clinch consistent minutes in Philly moving forward, especially when the veteran cogs get back from injury. He’s an athletic finisher who has quite. the nifty touch around the rim, but he is a near non-factor in the perimeter and touts minimal offensive utility outside fo being a threat from point-blank range.

Some teams will likely take a flier on Martin, banking on the promise he showed with the Rockets, but to end the season, it’s imperative for him to showcase a more well-rounded offensive game, consistently good tendencies on defense, and willingness to be a bona fide presence from three-point range to have a firm grip on his career.
